1)Should Rajiv Gandhi killers be freed ? If Yes, Why and If no Why ?

Answer : No , they should not be freed , Although they are not involved directly and actual culprits are killed but they are part of assasination plan of our PM and this will send bad impression to all at national as well as global level . They have commited inhumane thing robs one from his life , makes his family suffer and to pass through unbearable pain that no one can share. Even if they have now spend many years in jail they don’t deserve soft corner and symapthy . There death sentence is commuted , this is more than enough for them and now they have to spend rest of their life behind bars and this is right punishment for them as they should suffer pain and agony as they inflicted on others.

2)Should India do a plebisite in Kashmir ? If yes Why, if no Why ?

Answer : No, because time is still not ripe to perform such excercise . Though it sounds good but what if people decided to not to secede to India . We can’t give kashmir to pakistan on such basis as king of kashmir decided to join India and not pakistan , Kashmir mostly have muslim population and they may vote against India , may be forced by some anti social elements to caste vote against india . So its not good to depend entirely on people of particular state to decide their fate .

    3) Should Delhi be accorded state status and run like any other state ? If yes Why , If no Why ?

Answer : No , because Delhi is India’s capital and seat of all major administrative offices and it is very important to have direct centre control to tackle any emergency conditions that may occur any time quickly and with aptness . So it is in benefit of country to adminiter Delhi by Lt. Governor under direct control of president . Under direct control of CM responses may delay , there may be antagonistic views and clashes of ideas between centre and state which directly or indirectly affects nation. Though it has many features similar to states but still its not right time to give it a status of state. May be some more time is needed to think and decide over the issue.

    4) In case of a conflict between Freedom of Speech and Public order – Which one should take precedent and why ?

Answer : If such conflict occurs then public order should be given preference as it is of utmost importance to prevent society from clashes and chaos and also only if law , rules and governance is properly maintained one can have and use his/her freedom of speech . In absence of public order freedom of speech has no relevance as no one will listen to each other . Hence it becomes useless . Also public order is needed to maintain public services like health , education ,essential items supplies which is very important for any society to thrive.

    5) Do you think majority of Indians have inferiority complex ?If yes why , If no why ?

Answers : No, this is wrong . Indians don’t have inferiority complex. Indians are well above citizens of other countries in many fields.Number of engineering and MBA graduates are now working in MNC”s abroad and performing equally well with other foreigners . Many Indians have established themselves in other countries and are holding influential posts Like Sundar Pichai , Satya Nadella , K V Kamath – Head of New development bank of BRICS , Kalpana chawla – she was astronaut with NASA and many more examples are there. So we can’t say indians have inferiority complex . May be some percentage of indians feel that they are inferior to other indians or foreigners but this inferiority and superiorty complex dwells in person’s mind and it depends on person to become inferior or at par with others and if such thinking exists then there is need to address this issue as early as possible . But this is absolutely wrong to say that majority of Indians have inferiority complex.

Should Rajiv Gandhi killers be freed ? If Yes, Why and If no Why :-

An act of murder irrespective of the victim’s status or position calls for the highest punishment of the land.In this particular case where victim is India’s former Prime Minister :

Setting the killers free will open a Pandora’s box and can be used as a precedent by political parties in future to gain political mileage.Setting the convicts free may also send the wrong message to potential criminals who may plan to commit similar acts.

However, every terrorist is a human and should be given a opportunity to reform. In the light of Supreme Court’s landmark ruling in Bhullar case ,it can be said that since the killers have already served a sentence of 24 years and citing delay in disposing their mercy petition ,they are eligible for a remission .However this should be done only if they have remorse for the crime committed which should be judged by a independent committee and not simply on political whims .

Question 02 Should India do a plebisite in Kashmir ? If yes Why, if no Why ?
    The respondent skipped this question.
Question 03 Should Delhi be accorded state status and run like any other state ? If yes Why , If no Why ?

The critical situation in Delhi is that Delhi has a elected legislative assembly and a political executive that is responsible to the citizens and yet does not have control over important functions like police. This leads to accountability without authority that renders the Delhi government powerless. Thus Delhi should be accorded full statehood in true spirit of federalism.

Question 04 In case of a conflict between Freedom of Speech and Public order – Which one should take precedent and why ?

Freedom of speech is guaranteed by the constitution as a fundamental right .But this right is not a absolute right and restrictions can be imposed for public order. In light of this public order should take precedent as maintaining order and peace is in the larger public good.Even freedom that is misutilized and has potential to harm the harmony of public at large should be checked even if it means curbing freedom of speech.

However this should not happen in the case of criticism of government and whims and fancies of the government in power .Curbing the freedom of speech should be done in rare cases where danger to the public order is grave and a relation is clearly established as directed by supreme court .

Question 05 Do you think majority of Indians have inferiority complex ?If yes why , If no why ?
    The respondent skipped this question.

Should Rajiv Gandhi killers be freed ? If Yes, Why and If no Why :-

Yes I think rajiv gandhi killers should be freed because these people have been convicted in jail for many years and they might have felt confessed for the mistake they have committed . Government is trying to remove capital punishment also. Even though the person has committed henious crime like assassination of prime minister they have already faced punishment in the jail for these many years and their attitute towards the society might be also changed. They should be trained to gain some employment courses and let them be freed if they change their attitude

Question 02 Should India do a plebisite in Kashmir ? If yes Why, if no Why ?

I dont think India should do a plebisite in kashmir. Though kashmir is bone of contention for both pakistan and India it will be against constitutional values. IF Majority of people can go for a plebisite it can be done

Question 03 Should Delhi be accorded state status and run like any other state ? If yes Why , If no Why ?

No delhi shouldn’t be accorded state status as it is administered under lt.governor.Though there are some clashes between CM and governor they will be sorted out in long term. Delhi is heart of India where parliament, rastrapathi bhavan, and many other majority offices are located.

Question 04 In case of a conflict between Freedom of Speech and Public order – Which one should take precedent and why ?

I belive without certain public order freedom of speech will loose its importance. so pubilc order should take precedent as sometimes freedom of speech can go violent sometimes like what happened in JNU recently

Question 05 Do you think majority of Indians have inferiority complex ?If yes why , If no why ?

Yes majority of Indians have Inferiority complex because of our media where scientists will not be given much importance and they highlight babajis ans swamis which makes the people not to belive in their own capacities and move to these swamijis and mass media which shows only fair coloured people can achieve great things in society and not by dark skinned people. This attitude should change. However people who are having proper background like sundaram pichai, satya nadella have overcome this inferiority complex and reached great heights

Question 06 Give your name below , in case your answer is good , it will be published with a note of appreciation from us:-:-

  • Response – 7

Should Rajiv Gandhi killers be freed ? If Yes, Why and If no Why :-

Yes, due to the following reasons

    1. Its been 24 years since the killers have been languishing in the jail. Their mercy petition was biting dust in the Central Government offices for 11 years. The had to wait for their death. Afzal Guru once said that there is nothing worse than wait for death.
    2. The aim of punishment in the present society is not to seek revenge but to keep the society in equilibrium. The matter of Sri Lanka is long gone and the dust has settled. There is no sense in keeping the convicts in the prison anymore since their cause has gone. They were part of a community which had to suffer genocide in their own country. It was their compulsion to raise arms for their survival. In this effort they murdered the Indian PM for which they have suffered enough. They were not murderers by will but situations made them to do such things. But now the situation has changed completely. The cause for which they fought has become successful and therefore they should be given a chance to contribute to the society in a better way.

    3. The release of these killers is a political issue and more importantly a Centre-state issue. Till the time they are in jail, this issue will continue to sour our Centre State relations. The only solution to end this tug of war is that one side let go. The centre should show its big-mindedness and leave the stubbornness. Its the duty of the Centre to keep the relations with the state harmonious.

Question 02 Should India do a plebisite in Kashmir ? If yes Why, if no Why ?

No, due to the following reasons:

    1. When the Kashmir issue was taken to the UN, it ordered for a plebiscite in Kashmir. However India contended that since Pakistan has already occupied a part of the Kashmir plebiscite cannot be conducted. Then UN asked Pakistan to vacate the POK so that a plebiscite could be conducted. However Pakistan refused to do so and hence the plebiscite was not conducted. Since then Pakistan is demanding a plebiscite in Kashmir. To influence the Kashmiri people, it conduction infiltration operations. In such situations there can be no plebiscite.
  • Maharaja Hari Singh signed the ‘Instrument of Accession” in favour of India and therefore there is no meaning of the plebiscite.

  • J&K is a part of India and therefore Assembly elections and General elections are conducted there regularly. The voting percentage in these elections are above 50% except few occasions. The voting percentage itself shows that the Kashmiri people have faith in Indian Constitution. The plebiscite results would be no different.

  • The situation in Kashmir is still unstable and therefore a free and fair plebiscite is not an feasible option today. Also, raising the plebiscite issue will damage the integrity of the country. It will also lead to unnecessary political turmoil.

  • Question 03 Should Delhi be accorded state status and run like any other state ? If yes Why , If no Why ?

No, due to the following reasons:

    1. Delhi is the capital of the country and therefore all the important offices in India are situated there. It is home to embassies of many countries and also a centre stage for important national and international events. Therefore, the security of Delhi cannot be compromised. So, the budget of Delhi police is very high which cannot be afforded by Delhi Govt alone. If we try to provide special security to the Central offices through a different security agency, then it will lead to unnecessary confusion.
  • Central govt require land in the capital city for its operations. It cannot ask the Delhi govt every time it needs to use the land.

  • The Law and order of the capital city cannot be left in the hands of a state government.

  • Thus, there should be a special arrangement between the Centre and the local government of the capital region. Because of this many capital cities are governed through special arrangements, e.g. Washington DC, Islamabad etc.

Question 04 In case of a conflict between Freedom of Speech and Public order – Which one should take precedent and why ?

    Public Order should dominate.

    1. The worst form of crime that can be committed using freedom of speech is sedition. The universal definition of sedition says that the charges of sedition can by put if the speech content seeks to disturb harmony, incite violence and create an immediate danger to the integrity of the country. Therefore, freedom of speech can be curbed in certain circumstances. However, it does not include the speech against government.

2.The view of Indian judiciary also favours public order. Sec. 144 of CrPC empowers the DM and SDM to restrict the freedom of speech. Constitution also agrees with it and it has the provision of National Emergency.

    1. The status and importance of a society is higher than all of its members combined. Therefore, in certain circumstances one has to sacrifice its rights for the maintenance of order in the society.

Question 05 Do you think majority of Indians have inferiority complex ?If yes why , If no why ?

During colonial times Indian had forgotten all their cultural heritage and were indulged in the foul practices like Sati and Child marriage. Also, the British tried to effeminate the Indian people by belittling our culture. They were successful to a significant extent. This led to a reaction from the educated Indians who stared glorifying the ancient Indian culture, sometimes beyond the truth. Their effort along with the writings of the scholars like William Jones and Max Mueller resulted in restoration of the faith of the people in the Indian culture. Today we know that the Indian culture is not inferior to the world but is better in many aspects.
Also, we realize that Indian diaspora forms the backbone of developed countries. There seems to be no reason for feeling of inferiority. However, Indians are of reserved and shy nature and one may cunfuse it with inferiority complex.
